Festival Stage of Winston-Salem concludes its second season of resident professional theatre with the new office-based farce Hatchetman, which runs tonight, May 11 through May 27 at Hanesbrands Theatre (209 N. Spruce Street, Winston-Salem).

The Old Globe's 2012-13 Season will feature the World Premieres of two new musicals: Allegiance - A New American Musical by Jay Kuo and Lorenzo Thione and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak. The season also includes George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion in celebration of the classic play's 100th anniversary and the World Premiere of a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt. Two recent Broadway hits will make their San Diego debuts at the Globe: David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People and Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities. Rounding out the season are the West Coast Premiere of Bekah Brunstetter's Be a Good Little Widow and the Southern California Premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney's The Brothers Size.

Andreas Mitisek announced today Chicago Opera Theater's (COT) 2013 Season, his first as General Director. The season opens in February of 2013 with the Chicago Premiere of Philip Glass' The Fall of the House of Usher, followed by Ástor Piazzolla's Maria de Buenos Aires in April, and concluding in September with another Chicago Premiere, Giuseppe Verdi's Joan of Arc (Giovanna d'Arco). These three new productions will be presented at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Millennium Park.

Tickets start at $14, and while the show is family friendly, the suggested audience is kids 11 and older.

Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts presents Edgar Allan Poe's “Nevermore' with music by Matt Connor and book by Grace Barnes. The production runs from March 23-25, in Stage III, Webster Hall, 470 E. Lockwood Ave. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. only on Sunday. New Jersey Repertory Company, located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch is proud to present the New Jersey premiere of the Steven Canny, John Nicholson British comedy, "The Hound of the Baskervilles".
