Live Nation Entertainment and the City of Nashville today announced details behind the opening of Ascend Amphitheater- the city's new Live Nation-operated amphitheater. The state of the art venue will feature its first concert with GRAMMY Award-winner Eric Church on July 30, 2015. Omaha Performing Arts' 2015/2016 Season will include a celebration of the organization's 10th anniversary, Celebrate 10. Details on the festivities as well as the 15/16 Season were announced during a subscriber and patron event at the Holland Performing Arts Center on March 23. The season features new series, a change of location, world-renowned guest artists and concerts designed to appeal to diverse audiences throughout the Richmond region. The season will again be led by the artistic team of Steven Smith, Lewis T. Booker Music Director Chair, Keitaro Harada, Associate Conductor and Dr. Erin R. The cast of the Tony Award-winning hit Beautiful just celebrated the show's one year anniversary. Since opening on Broadway on January 12, 2014, Beautiful has broken all box office records at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, where it recently became the highest grossing production in the theatre's history. Leading the company is Tony winner Jessie Mueller, who has been with the show all along the way.
