Iconic music group Sister Sledge have announced plans for a feature film based on the lives of the legendary four sisters from Philadelphia, who rose to prominence and found worldwide success with the release of the remarkable We are Family album. Entitled Life Song, based on the memoirs of one of the founding members Kim Sledge, the biographical film will delve into the story behind music's most famous sisters.

It was absolutely blissful to slide into a comfy seat at the well air conditioned Century II Concert Hall to watch Music Theatre Wichita's season opener, Sister Act. Curtain is at 8pm, but I like to get there by 7:30pm to hear Wayne Bryan, MTW's Producing Artistic Director, share his dramaturgical insights on the production, and also to watch the Teen Choir perform a few musical numbers relevant to the current show.
