Titled 'I can see so far...' , this year's Spring Gala Benefit for the Off-Broadway theater company Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director), was held on Monday evening, April 27th at Guastavino's (409 East 59th Street).

Acclaimed Off-Broadway theater company Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced additional performers for its annual Spring Gala Benefit 'I can see so far...' on Monday evening, April 27th at Guastavino's (409 East 59th Street).

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Ellen Richard, Executive Director) will present EVERYDAY RAPTURE, written by Dick Scanlan (Tony nominee for Thoroughly Modern Millie) and Sherie Rene Scott (Tony nominee for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), with musical supervision by Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, High Fidelity), directed by Michael Mayer (Tony Award winner for Spring Awakening).

13, a new musical with music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown will play its final performance on Sunday, January 4, 2009 after 22 preview and 105 regular performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W. 45th Street). The first Broadway show to star an all teenage cast and band began previews on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 and opened on Sunday, October 5, 2008.

The cast and band of 13, A New Musical: Graham Phillips, Allie Trimm, Aaron Simon Gross, Delaney Moro, Eric M. Nelson, Elizabeth Egan Gillies, Al Calderon, Malik Hammond, Caitlin Gann, Ariana Grande, Joey La Varco, Brynn Williams, Lexi Bodick, Zac Coe, Adam Michael Kaufman, Zach Page, Chris Raymond and Charlie Rosen gave a live performance of three songs from the show, followed by a CD signing to celebrate the in store release of the original cast recording on Tuesday, November 25th at the Borders in The Shops at Columbus Circle.

Greg Graham was the Gypsy Robe winner for 'BILLY ELLIOT,' and it was presented to him during an opening night ceremony on November 13th. The colorful Gypsy Robe, embellished with mementos from Broadway musicals, is presented to the cast member who has the most Broadway chorus credits.
