Ayad Akhtar's THE INVISIBLE HAND Begins Previews Tonight at NYTW

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) presents the New York Premiere of THE INVISIBLE HAND, written by Pulitzer Prize Winner Ayad Ahktar. Directed by two-time Obie Award winner Ken Rus Schmoll, THE INVISIBLE HAND begins previews tonight, November 19, 2014 and officially opens on Monday, December 8, 2014 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003) for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 4, 2015.

Public Theater Extends Suzan-Lori Parks' FATHER COMES HOME FROM THE WARS

The Public Theater announced a second extension for the critically acclaimed FATHER COMES HOME FROM THE WARS (PARTS 1, 2 & 3), a world premiere play written by Public Theater Master Writer Chair Suzan-Lori Parks. Directed by Jo Bonney, FATHER COMES HOME FROM THE WARS (PARTS 1, 2 & 3) will now run through Sunday, December 7. It was originally scheduled to close on November 16 and extended the first time through November 30.

The Public Theater announced a two-week extension today for the critically acclaimed FATHER COMES HOME FROM THE WARS (PARTS 1, 2 & 3), a world premiere play written by Public Theater Master Writer Chair Suzan-Lori Parks. Directed by Jo Bonney, FATHER COMES HOME FROM THE WARS (PARTS 1, 2 & 3) began previews on Tuesday, October 14 in the Anspacher Theater and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, November 16. It will now run an additional two weeks through Sunday, November 30.

Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Berry Gordy, and Broadway In Boston have announced that single tickets for MOTOWN THE MUSICAL will go on sale to the public Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 10AM. Performances at the Boston Opera House, January 27 through February 15, 2015.

Tickets to the first preview on Tuesday, October 14 are free and available by lottery in The Public Theater lobby and by TodayTix mobile app. Member tickets, starting at $40, and single tickets, starting at $60, are available now by calling (212) 967-7555, www.publictheater.org, or in person at the Taub Box Office at The Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street. The Library at The Public is open nightly for food and drinks, beginning at 5:30 p.m., and Joe's Pub at The Public continues to offer some of the best music in the city.
