= Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Berry Gordy have announced that First National Tour of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL will celebrate its one year anniversary on May 8, 2015.

"Immediate Family," a biting new comedy written by Paul Oakley Stovall and directed by Phylicia Rashad, opens at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum on Sunday, May 3 at 7 p.m. Performances continue through June 7, 2015. Center Stage announces the full cast and creative team for the world premiere production of Marley, a new musical with music and lyrics by Bob Marley, and written and directed by Center Stage Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah. The production will run May 7* to June 14, 2015 at Center Stage in Baltimore.

The cast is set for the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum production of "Immediate Family" by Paul Oakley Stovall. As the second show in the 48th season at the Mark Taper Forum, the play will begin on April 22 and continues through June 7, 2015, with the opening taking place on May 3.

Based on Berry Gordy's 1994 autobiography To Be Loved: The Music, the Magic, the Memories of Motown, this musical tells the true story behind Mr. Gordy's founding and running of the Motown record label, and his personal and professional relationships with Motown artists such as Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, and Michael Jackson. The music and lyrics for the musical are taken from selections from the Motown catalog.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus, presents Suzan-Lori Parks' epic Father Comes Home From the Wars (Parts 1, 2 & 3), directed by Jo Bonney, in a co-production with The Public Theater in New York.
