The cast of Under A Rainbow Flag will present a high-energy cabaret at Mary's Attic tonight, February 15 at 7 pm. Under A Rainbow Flag's Stage Door Canteen will feature the cast members of this world-premiere musical singing songs from World War II, songs from Broadway, and premiering songs from Under A Rainbow Flag.

The Dallas Opera has announced details on its 250thproduction: a haunting and evocative 1980 chamber opera masterpiece, THE LIGHTHOUSE, by British composer Peter Maxwell Davies, opening Friday, March 16, 2012 at 7:30 PM in collaboration with the Dallas Theater Center.

Soprano Susanna Phillips has been named the recipient of the fifth annual Beverly Sills Artist Award for young singers at the Metropolitan Opera. The $50,000 award, the largest of its kind in the United States, is designated for extraordinarily gifted singers between the ages of 25 and 40 who have already appeared in featured solo roles at the Met.

Sanchez is the new quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Jets fifth overall in the 2009 NFL Draft.
