Deborah Gilmour Smyth to Lead Lamb's WIT; Full Cast Announced

The cast features Lamb's 2013 Acting Company members Deborah Gilmour Smyth, Cynthia Gerber, Jason Heil and Caitie Grady, along with Lamb's Associate Artists Jim Chovick, Kaja Amado Dunn and Bryan Barbarin. M'Lafi Thompson completes the cast in her debut performance with Lamb's.

Ryan Murphy Tweeted the news today that American Idol alum Adam Lambert will be joining the cast of GLEE for the series fifth season on FOX. No word yet on whether his role will be as a series regular, in a recurring capacity, or as a guest star.

Lamb's Players Theatre previously announced its cast for SEE HOW THEY RUN. Set in an English country manor house during WWII, Philip King's hilarious comedy is among the very best of British farces. SEE HOW THEY RUN is directed by Lamb's Producing Artistic Director, Robert Smyth, with scenic design by Mike Buckley, costume design by Jemima Dutra, lighting design by Lila Lace Flores King and prop design by Michael McKeon. It opens tonight, August 17.

Lamb's Players Theatre today announced its cast for SEE HOW THEY RUN. Set in an English country manor house during WWII, Philip King's hilarious comedy is among the very best of British farces. The cast features Lamb's 2012 Acting Company members Kerry Meads, Cynthia Gerber, Jim Chovick, Jason Heil and Myra McWethy, along with Lamb's Associate Artists Ron Choularton, Jeffery Jones and Paul Maley; and the Lamb's debut by Brendan Farley.

Andy Monson, Mark Ulrich and More Join Steppenwolf's 2012-13 Season

Steppenwolf Theatre Company Artistic Director Martha Lavey announced today additional casting for the 2012/13 Subscription and Steppenwolf for Young Adults seasons. Will Allan, Keith Kupferer and Lusia Strus join previously announced ensemble members Alana Arenas, Mariann Mayberry and Molly Regan, completing the cast of the season opener, Good People. The cast of the Steppenwolf for Young Adults production of The Book Thief features ensemble member Francis Guinan with Patrick Andrews, Amy J. Carle, Rob Fagin, Rae Gray, Dennis William Grimes, Nikki Klix, Ian Knox, Anthony-Jon LeSage, Clancy McCartney, Andy Monson, Mark Ulrich and Nicole Wiesner. Other additions to the 2012/13 slate include Sandra Delgado, Sandra Marquez, John Ortiz and Gary Perez in The Motherf**ker with the Hat, and Cheryl Lynn Bruce, Glenn Davis and Jacqueline Williams in Head of Passes. Edward Torres has also signed on to direct the Steppenwolf for Young Adults production of How Long Will I Cry?: Voices of Youth Violence (previously titled Oral Histories) with Artistic Consultant Kelli Simpkins.

Adam Lambert Wants to Guest Star on GLEE!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has admitted that he would like to make a guest apperaance of FOX's GLEE. Lambertrevealed: "I think there were murmurs about it. Hopefully, maybe now that I have some new music, I could go on there."
