Emmy Award winner Rue McClanahan, whose acting career has spanned more than four decades is developing a new one-woman show reports the Chicago tribune, based on her 2007 autobiography 'My First Give Husbands.'
The show, for which McClahanan is said to have Broadway aspirations is expected to premiere in Chicago this fall.

Variety is reporting that 'About a Boy' director Paul Weitz is in talks to direct 'Little Fockers', the third instalment of the 'Meet the Parents' franchise. 'Get Smart' helmer Pete Segal was in talks to direct 'Little Fockers' but it now looks as if Weitz is the front runner.

Variety reports Pete Segal, the director of the hit comedy, Get Smart is the frontrunner to direct Little Fockers, the third installment in the Universal Pictures/Tribeca Prods. franchise. The trade paper reports that Segal's schedule has opened up as plans to make Get Smart 2 have been put on hold as Steve Carell has signed on to star in Date Night with Tina Fey for Fox.
