After a sold-out benefit run for BC/EFA this February, PAGEANT - THE MUSICAL returns in a limited Off-Broadway engagement at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street). The show officially opened last night, July 14, 2014. The cast of tiara-crazed beauties includes Nick Cearley ('The Skivvies'),Nic Cory (Signs of Life), Alex Ringler (West Side Story), Marty Thomas (Wicked, Xanadu),Seth Tucker (Our Kiki), and Curtis Wiley (Motown), with John Bolton (A Christmas Story, 'Gossip Girl') as the host. Previews began Sunday, June 29, 2014, and the show will officially open tonight, July 14, 2014. John Bolton Set to Join Cast of PAGEANT on 7/6

Producers of PAGEANT - THE MUSICAL have announced John Bolton (A Christmas Story, "Gossip Girl") will join the cast beginning Sunday, July 6, 2014, taking over for a previously announced Kevin Meaney.

PAGEANT to Return for Off-Broadway; Nick Cearley, Alex Ringler & More to Star

After a sold-out benefit run for BC/EFA this February, producers of PAGEANT - THE MUSICAL have announced the show will return in a limited Off-Broadway engagement at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street) beginning Sunday, June 29, 2014, with an official opening on Monday, July 14, 2014. The cast of tiara-crazed beauties includes Nick Cearley ('The Skivvies'), Frankie J. Grande (Mamma Mia), Alex Ringler (West Side Story), Marty Thomas (Xanadu), Seth Tucker (Our Kiki), and Curtis Wiley (Motown), with additional casting to be announced soon.

Special: Record a Song or Monologue and Submit it to 6 Broadway Casting Directors!

For the month of April, performers can submit their song or monologue videos on Stagelighter.com to a panel of six Broadway casting directors for free. Panelists will nominate videos into a final round which will be posted on Stagelighter's Facebook page and one performer chosen by the public will win round trip airfare to New York City, private meetings with each of the six casting directors, tickets to a Broadway show plus a backstage tour. NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812's Film Plans Put on Hold

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, named one of the Best Musicals of 2013 by The New York Times and one of Time Magazine's Top 10 Musicals of 2013, just closed at Kazino (45th Street between Times Square and 8th Avenue). Additionally, yesterday was the deadline to give to the Kickstarter that was set up to help fund the filming of the show, and unfortunately the project fell short of its $250,000 goal with $37,889 raised in total. The producers of the show just released the following statement: 'We are so appreciative of the fans who supported the film of The Great Comet. While we remain excited at the prospect of capturing The Great Comet on film, the coordination of shooting schedules at this time proved extremely difficult. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the film plans until a later date. Any pledges by our backers on our Kickstarter campaign will not be used.'

NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, named one of the Best Musicals of 2013 by The New York Times and one of Time Magazine's Top 10 Musicals of 2013, will close today at Kazino (45th Street between Times Square and 8th Avenue). In addition, today is the final day to give to the Kickstarter that was set up to help fund the filming of the show. The current tally, as of 8:30am, is 235 backers, who have pledged $36,899 of the $250,000 goal, with 15 hours to go.

PAGEANT Sells Out, Adds Performance on February 24

The producers of PAGEANT - THE MUSICAL COMEDY BEAUTY CONTEST are pleased to announce that all originally scheduled performances on February 10, 17 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. are now completely sold out. Due to popular demand, one additional performance has been added on Monday, February 24 at 10:30 p.m. and tickets are available for purchase at www.PageantTheMusical.com. PAGEANT is playing at the Red Lacquer Club, home of Lucky Cheng's at 240 West 52nd Street.

'GREAT COMET' to Allow Audience Members to Send Own Love Letters During Valentine's Day Performances
