54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Fleur Seule in Fleur Seule: Swing Era Sophistication on Wednesday, July 16th at 7PM. After hit engagements at Swing 46, Row NYC Hotel, and Refinery Rooftop Hotel, Fleur Seule makes their 54 Below debut. Fleur Seule plays Swing Era hits and Jazz standards that will transport you to the 1930s and 1940s: The times of hep cats and swingin' tunes. Led by vocalist Allyson Briggs, this dynamic band of old souls will have you humming and tapping your feet along to classics, and enjoying songs from the vault that you've never heard before.

Producers Scott Sanders and Wynton Marsalis brought us After Midnight, directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle and featuring the big-band sounds of nine-time Grammy Award-winner Wynton Marsalis' Jazz at Lincoln Center All-Stars. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, After Midnight, the seven-time 2014 Tony® Award-nominee, and winner of the Tony® Award for Best Choreography (Warren Carlyle), will play its final performance on Sunday, June 29 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th Street). At the time of its closing, After Midnight will have run 8 months, with 19 preview performances and 272 regular performances. The Asparagus Club's opening performance will be tonight, June 24, 2014 at 7:30PM at The Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater.

Patti LaBelle, who is currently guest starring in AFTER MIDNIGHT on Broadway, told ABC News Radio that she has a few connections up her sleeve that she hopes will save the show before its planned closing (and her final performance) on June 29th. And she says she's not beyond begging; the show is worth it to her.

Gabrielle Stravelli - the acclaimed pop/jazz vocalist called "ingenious" by The Wall Street Journal and known from her tours with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, appearances at the 92nd Street Y and her long-running Soho jazz brunch - will perform an exclusive engagement at The Metropolitan Room for a two week run in July 2014. Her new show, directed by nightlife legend Marilyn Maye, will include selections from her debut CD Waiting in Vain and preview tracks for her upcoming sophomore release. The evening will feature classic standards like "While We're Young" and "Goody Goody," pop hits such as "Young Folks" (Peter, Bjorn and John) and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" (John Fogerty), in addition to distinctive original compositions. She will be joined by Joshua Richman on piano, Pat O'Leary on bass and Eric Halvorson on drums.
