Birdland will kick-off their great week of programming with the following acts:

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces the TRU Voices New Musicals Reading Series, on January 23 & 30 at 7pm at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 W. 46th Street, NYC 10036. A 'Dollars and Sense' talkback on the future development of the presented works will be held after each performance.

Love is in the air when award-winning jazz vocalist Alexis Cole appears at the Capitol Center for the Arts' Spotlight Cafe on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 7:30PM. This Valentine's Day show is one of several free William H. Giles Concert Series performances during the CCA's 2016-17 season.

Unison Media has announced Season 2 of its acclaimed concert series The Crypt Sessions, featuring intimate classical music and opera performances in the remarkable Crypt chapel underneath the Church of the Intercession in Harlem.

The speakeasy-themed concert will feature jazz and swing selections, perfect for the Taft's Art Deco era architecture.

The Cleveland Orchestra's 37th annual concert in celebration of the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. takes place at Severance Hall on Sunday, January 15, at 7:00 p.m., under the direction of Thomas Wilkins.

The Aeolus Quartet and Musica Viva NY Artistic Director and pianist Alejandro Hernandez-Valdez are featured in Take Five-a concert of piano quintets and string quartets to benefit Musica Viva NY's artistic and outreach endeavors-on Sunday, January 29 at 5:00 p.m. at All Souls Church (Lexington Avenue and 80th Street).

American Soul/R&B singer Freda Payne and Grammy Award nominee B. Slade, who brought down the house during the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts' co-production of For The Record: Scorsese - American Crime Requiem, bring their signature vocal styles to The Wallis for special one-night-only concerts in The Sorting Room on January 7 and 8, respectively. The Sorting Room, an exciting new intimate space for live performance, temporarily transforms The Wallis' Lovelace Studio Theater into a 150-seat nightclub that offers Los Angeles audiences the opportunity to see some of the best established and upcoming talent in cabaret, comedy, live contemporary music, dance performance and more, now through January 14.

Tony Bennett celebrated his 90 th birthday in August and this milestone occasion continues with the RPM Records / Columbia Records release of Tony Bennett Celebrates 90 set for pre-order on November 11 th and worldwide release on December 16.
