6 - a new musical with book, music and lyrics by Zack Zadek (additional lyrics by Gina DePalo), will receive its European premiere at the Space on North Bridge, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014 with previews at London Theatre Workshop 27th - 28th July. Zack is one of America's youngest and most promising composers having 6 - a new musical selected by New York Musical Theatre Festival and featured in 2012. He was soon after invited to perform a solo concert at NYCs famous Joe's Pub. In January 2014 TwentySomething produced Zack's UK debut concert featuring some of London's finest voices.

Producer John Johnson has announced today that Grantland's Men in Blazers will host Men in Blazers: Live on Broadway, an evening to celebrate everything that is glorious and distinct about United States Soccer on Friday, May 30th at 7:30PM at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street). The evening will feature conversation with members from the 1994 U.S. Men's National Team, as well as host members of the current U.S. Men's National Team, to wish them Godspeed before they head down to Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Barnyard Follies is a new musical intended for young performers, written by Sam Carner of the Carner & Gregor team (Unlock'd, Island Song). Directing the reading is David Alpert (Associate Director of If/Then, The Best Man, A Trip to Bountiful) and musical direction is provided by Jason Wetzel (Assistant Conductor for After Midnight and numerous touring credits including Young Frankenstein, The Drowsy Chaperone). The cast features 24 young performers ranging in age from seven to nineteen and includes Sebastian Hedges Thomas, currently on Broadway as Young Charlie in Kinky Boots. The reading will take place at 6pm on May 28th at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater at Playwrights Horizons.
