Kenneth Gartman Returns to Don't Tell Mama with A BALLSY CHRISTMAS WITH KENNETH, 12/23

Kenneth Gartman returns to Don't Tell Mama on Sunday, December 23rd to host his 4th Annual Holiday Open Mic - A BALLSY CHRISTMAS WITH KENNETH. This 90 minute holiday open mic aspires to be one of the funniest and possibly most offensive shows of the holiday season featuring some of Cabaret and Broadway's great talents. You'll hear some of your favorite traditional tunes and enjoy a holiday sing-along as well. In addition to hosting, Gartman will be tickling the ivories with Matt Vander Ende on Drums and John Convertino on Bass.

David Burnham Brings MOSTLY BROADWAY to Don't Tell Mama, 1/13

Star of THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA and WICKED David Burnham performs his concert act entitled 'Mostly Broadway' at Don't Tell Mama Cabaret as part of his Winter Tour of Performing Arts Centers. The concert will take place on Sunday, January 13th at 4:00pm (343 West 46th Street New York City, NY).

JUDY AND LIZA TOGETHER AGAIN Extends Again at Don't Tell Mama thru Feb 2013

'Judy and Liza Together Again', starring internationally acclaimed entertainers Rick Skye and Tommy Femia, named 'Best Duo' this year by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC), has been extended again through the winter season at Don't Tell Mama's (343 West 46th Street).

Frank Dain Reprises THE MAGIC OF MYTHS at Don't Tell Mama, Now thru 12/15

Singer Frank Dain will reprise The Magic of Mathis in December with two performances at Don't Tell Mama tonight, December 8th and 15th at 6pm. This show was recently nominated for a BroadwayWorld.com Award in Best Tribute Show category. The Magic of Mathis brings new interpretations to many favorite songs.

Frank Dain Plays Don't Tell Mama, 12/8 & 15

Singer Frank Dain, also known to the New York community as the Editor of Cabaret Scenes Magazine, will reprise The Magic of Mathis at Don't Tell Mama, Saturdays Dec. 8th and 15th at 6pm. This show was recently nominated for a Broadway World Award in Best Tribute Show category. The Magic of Mathis brings fresh interpretations to such Johnny Mathis signature tunes as "Chances Are," "It's Not for Me to Say," "Wild Is the Wind," "Misty" and "The Twelfth of Never. " Contributing creative arrangements is Dain's frequent collaborator, Musical Director Kathleen Landis, a popular pianist who is missed by many people at the Cafe Pierre, where she entertained audiences for years. The Magic of Mathis will also include some more obscure songs, as well, such as "99 Miles from L.A.," "Yellow Roses on Her Gown," "I'll Be Easy to Find" and "Photograph," all part of Mathis's remarkable 56-year career. The show, which ran very successfully at Metropolitan Room in September, has been directed by the Multi-award winning director/entertainer, Lennie Watts.

William Blake Sings Accoustic Sets at Sidewalk Cafe, 11/21 & 28

Blues/jazz singer William Blake will kick off the new "Landmark Wednesdays" series of concerts at the historic SideWalk Cafe in the East Village on November 21 and 28. Blake, along with Randy Napoleon on guitar, Mike Karn on bass and Danny Young on percussion, will perform sets at 8 and 10 pm.

Nominations Annouced in 20 Categories for First-Ever BWW New York Cabaret Awards - Cast Your Votes NOW!

After receiving more than 3,000 nominations once BroadwayWorld.com announced it's first-ever New York Cabaret Awards in early October, BWW is now pleased to announce it's final nominations ballot in 20 categories. Now it's time for all you cabaret performers and fans to vote for the best singers, musicians and shows of the year. Voting will continue until December 31 and winners will be announced in early January.

Jose Llana and Enrico Rodriguez Star in NYTB's COSTS OF LIVING Reading, 11/7 & 8

New York Theatre Barn will present a free private reading of the new musical Costs of Living November 7 and 8 in the Theatre District. Jose Llana (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and Enrico Rodriguez (Zanna, Don't!, Rent) will star. Costs of Living, with book, music and lyrics by Timothy Huang, was a selection of Stephen Schwartz's 2012 ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop and a 2012 American Harmony Prize finalist.
