Kenneth Gartman Returns to Don't Tell Mama with A BALLSY CHRISTMAS WITH KENNETH, 12/23
Kenneth Gartman returns to Don't Tell Mama on Sunday, December 23rd to host his 4th Annual Holiday Open Mic - A BALLSY CHRISTMAS WITH KENNETH. This 90 minute holiday open mic aspires to be one of the funniest and possibly most offensive shows of the holiday season featuring some of Cabaret and Broadway's great talents. You'll hear some of your favorite traditional tunes and enjoy a holiday sing-along as well. In addition to hosting, Gartman will be tickling the ivories with Matt Vander Ende on Drums and John Convertino on Bass. Note: Only up-tempo and/or comic, holiday themed tunes allowed! We are here to laugh and have a good time!
Kenneth is currently nominated for two 2012 Broadway World Cabaret Awards both for his solo show "Kenneth Gartman: Not Like the Other Cavemen" as well as for Best Music Director for his work on shows like "Joshing Around" and "Rev. Yolanda's Old Time Gospel Hour". He has toured the US in the National Tour of THE MUSIC MAN. Internationally, he performed throughout Ireland in SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM, SIMPLY SONDHEIM (LIVE! BBC Broadcast), and A NEW YORK SONGBOOK: WAY OFF BROADWAY.
