Lucky Chick has been selected to be part of the 2015 New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC). Written by and starring Felicity Seidel, the solo show is a comedic story of how a young girl got swept up into a crazy drug and sex-fueled world alongside her older boyfriend, Bob Weir of The Grateful Dead.

International City Theatre has announced a season of five critically acclaimed plays by six multiple award-winning writers for 2016. The company's 31st season launches on Feb. 12 at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley continues its 2015/2016 season with the Regional Premiere of The Country House. This recent Broadway hit is the latest from Donald Margulies, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Dinner with Friends. The Country House will be directed by Robert Kelley who has assembled a cast including Kimberly King, Gary S. Martinez, Marcia Pizzo, Stephen Muterspaugh, Rosie Hallett, and Jason Kuykendall, with performances August 26 - September 20 (press opening August 29) at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro Street (at Mercy), Mountain View. Susan Merson, Producing Artistic Director of the Thirteenth Street Repertory Theatre has assembled a passionate group of artists for this musicalized version of her Gothic-style play, BETWEEN PRETTY PLACES, about the choices a central California family must make when they are thrust into supernatural circumstances. Directed by John Hadden, a founding member of the Berkshires' well-respected Shakespeare & Company, and featuring Ellen Parker, Philip Callen, Julie Fitzpatrick, Jemma Kosanke, and Heather Rasche.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that Hamlet In Bed, written by Michael Laurence and directed by Lisa Peterson, will begin previews Friday, August 28, at 8pm at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place.  Joining Mr. Laurence in the cast is Annette O'Toole.  The official opening night is set for Thursday, September 10; the production will run through Sunday, October 25.

George Street Playhouse has announced that Joe DiPietro's The Second Mrs. Wilson, will occupy the previously to-be-announced slot in the New Brunswick theatre's 2015-16 season.

Second Stage Theatre continues the 2015 Uptown Series with the World Premiere of King Liz, written by Fernanda Coppel (Chimichangas and Zoloft) and directed by Lisa Peterson. King Liz will feature MICHAEL CULLEN, JEREMIE HARRIS, RUSSELL G. JONES, CAROLINE LAGERFELT, IRENE SOFIA LUCIO, and KAREN PITTMAN. Previews began Monday, July 13th, for opening night tonight, July 27th, 2015.
