Three-time Tony Award-winner Glenn Close took her final bow today as 'Norma Desmond' in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award-winning masterpiece, Sunset Boulevard and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the revival's end.

SUNSET BOULEVARD plays its final performance on Broadway today, Sunday, June 25. The production, which marked the triumphant return of Glenn Close to the role of Norma Desmond, will have played a total of 145 performances. Originally scheduled as a limited run through May 28th, Sunset Boulevard extended through June 25.

The Other Palace has announced casting for its upcoming production of Bonnie & Clyde, book by Ivan Menchell, lyrics by Don Black and music by Frank Wildhorn.

Primary Stages announced today that the world premiere of A WALK WITH MR. HEIFETZ, written by James Inverne (Wrestling with Elephants) and directed by Benjamin Kamine (Washer/Dryer), will now play on the Primary Stages Mainstage in January of 2018 at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St, New York, NY, 10014).

Last night, Nikolai Foster's revival of ANNIE opened at the Piccadilly Theatre in London's West End. The production stars Miranda Hart as Miss Hannigan, Alex Bourne as Daddy Warbucks, Holly Dale Spencer as Grace Farrell, Jonny Fines as Rooster and Djalenga Scott as Lily.

With one look she can stop the show...literally.  BroadwayWorld has just learned that at yesterday's matinee of Sunset Boulevard, leading lady Glenn Close paused her performance to politely ask an audience member to stop taking photos, saying it was distracting and disrespectful. She said: "We can have a show or we can have a photo shoot," and then quickly began "With One Look" again from the top of the song.

Birmingham Hippodrome is thrilled to announce that Strictly sensation Danny Mac will join the cast of the forthcoming UK and Ireland tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's award-winning musical Sunset Boulevard in the role of Joe Gillis. Danny will join the previously announced Ria Jones, who will reprise her celebrated West End role as Norma Desmond in the hit show directed by Nikolai Foster.

Michael Harrison and David Ian have announced that Danny Mac is to star as Joe Gillis in the forthcoming UK and Ireland tour of Curve's production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's award-winning musical SUNSET BOULEVARD. Ria Jones is to play Norma Desmond and the show is to be directed by Nikolai Foster.
