Cracker Barrel Old Country Store today announced that Dolly Parton is its latest Spotlight Music artist. The legendary singer will exclusively release a deluxe version of her new album Pure & Simple in Cracker Barrel stores nationwide and online at crackerbarrel.com on Friday, Aug. 26, 2016.

Country superstar and Southern sweetheart Dolly Parton stopped by this morning's TODAY on NBC to chat about her new album "Pure & Simple" as well as her largest tour ever!

NBC wins the night, leading six of six half-hours among the Big 4 nets in both 18-49 and total viewers with the #1-2 shows of the night in both categories, “America's Got Talent” and “Better Late Than Never.”

Last night, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” averaged a 3.0 rating, 8 share in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research and a 0.9/5 in 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

On last night's TONIGHT SHOW, guest Dolly Parton discussed her new album 'Pure & Simle'. Later, the legendary singer performed the title track from the album and her classic 'Coat of Many Colors.'

Today, NBC announced that the award-winning singer will perform onTHE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON tonight, August 23rd and on TODAY on Wednesday, August 24th in support of her new album.

Dolly Parton, the most honored female country performer of all time, has received 25 RIAA certified gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards and landed 25 songs at number 1 on the Billboard Country charts. She has 41 career top 10 country albums, a record for any artist, and she has 110 career charted singles over the past 40 years.

Columbia Records has announced legendary Grammy award winning singer/songwriter/producer Barry Gibb will release his first solo album involving new material, In The Now, on October 7.

 Dolly Parton fans and SiriusXM subscribers are having a great week! Not only is Dolly's highly-anticipated new album Pure & Simple available Friday, August 19, but Dolly Parton's SiriusXM special is also airing on Willie Nelson's SiriusXM channel, Willie's Roadhouse! The special will debuton Friday at 11am ET and 6pm ET, with re-airings on Saturday at10am ET and 7pm ET and Sunday at 3pm ET and 11pm ET. Additionally, SiriusXM has declared next Friday, Aug. 26 "Dolly Day," on Prime Country and will air the Dolly Parton: "Pure & Simple" special on the Prime Country channel at 9am ET, 3pm ET and 10pm ET. 

Cabaret & Broadway star T. Oliver Reid (After Midnight, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Never Gonna dance, La Cage Auz Folles, The Wedding Singer, Mary Poppins, Sister Act, GIRLS) debuted his new show, "Made in America" last night and Broadwayworld was there.  Reid's songfest was filled with the memories and love of the USA as told by this one American boy.  The show contained the songs of Irving Berlin, John Cougar Mellencamp, Dolly Parton, Jim Croce, Aaron Copland, Paul Simon and everything in between.

Veteran Grand Ole Opry pianist Tim Atwood is inviting a few hundred of his closest friends and fans to an old-fashioned "dinner on the grounds" in Hendersonville, Tennessee, on Sunday, August 14. The occasion is the release of "That Old Time Religion" (i2iRecords), Atwood's second album, but first gospel project since leaving the Opry's house band in 2014, after 38 years.
