Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present Golden Globe nominee Rebecca Hall as 'Young Woman' in a new Broadway production of Machinal, by Sophie Treadwell, directed by Lyndsey Turner. The cast will include Suzanne Bertish as 'Mother', Michael Cumpsty as 'Husband',Morgan Spector as 'Lover' and Damian Baldet, Ashley Bell, Jeff Biehl, Arnie Burton, Ryan Dinning, Scott Drummond, Dion Graham, Edward James Hyland, Jason Loughlin, Maria-Christina Oliveras, Daniel Pearce, Henny Russell, Karen Walsh,Michael Warner. The cast met the press earlier this week and BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was on hand to chat with the company. Check out what they had to say about the production below!

It is my pleasure to announce the complete cast of Machinal, written by Sophie Treadwell and directed by Lyndsey Turner. Susan Bertish (Mother), Michael Cumpsty (Husband), and Morgan Spector (Lover) will join the previously announced Rebecca Hall. In addition, the cast will feature Damian Baldet, Ashley Bell, Jeff Biehl,Arnie Burton, Ryan Dinning, Scott Drummond, Dion Graham,Edward James Hyland, Jason Loughlin, Maria-Christina Oliveras,Daniel Pearce, Henny Russell, Karen Walsh, and Michael Warner.

Shakespeare Theatre Stages 'Free For All' MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, Now thru 9/1

The Shakespeare Theatre Company's annual Free For All is a much-loved Washington tradition, offering free Shakespeare performances to the general public for the past 22 years. This year the beloved tradition launches the Company's 2013-2014 Season by reviving Much Ado About Nothing, initially presented during the 2011-2012 Season with original direction by Ethan McSweeny. Much Ado About Nothing will run at STC's Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) from today, August 20-September 1, 2013. Resident Assistant Director Jenny Lord will direct this delightful summer comedy for residents and visitors to D.C.
