OSO at The Southampton Inn, 91 Hill Street in Southampton continues its popular 'Dinner and...' Series featuring a 3 course gourmet dinner and conversations with luminaries in The Hamptons with a very special evening featuring three Hamptonites who have delighted audiences on stages across the East End: Josh Perl founder of The Naked Stages, Josh Gladstone Artistic Director, John Drew Theatre at Guild Hall and Watermill Center Artist in Residence writer/actor/director/choreographer Kate Mueth. The trio will give audiences a brief preview of the upcoming Naked Stages Marathon at Guild Hall; what special events are planned for the 2009 Season and do a short performance in an intimate salon like atmosphere.

The gala was held at Richard's River House duplex apartment. Kelli O'Hara lent her glorious vocal talent to the event, and the guest list included theater icons Polly Bergen and Phyllis Newman.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center will present its annual Monte Cristo Award to Pulitzer Prize and triple Tony Award-winning playwright Neil Simon, in recognition of his distinguished accomplishments and contributions to the American theater, exemplifying Eugene O'Neill's standard of excellence. The Award will be presented to Mr. Simon at a gala dinner in the Rainbow Room's Pegasus Suite on Monday, April 21st at 6:30 p.m.

Scores of the brightest lights on stage and screen will turn out in red carpet finery for a celebration of classic Hollywood, Hooray for Hollywood honoring the legendary Oscar winner Patricia Neal, Smith Barney's Shirl Penney and The Count and Countess de Lesseps, Stage 6 at Steiner Film Studios, 15 Washington Avenue at the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard. The gala evening is slated for November 1, with all proceeds going to The Auditory Oral School of New York, a non profit organization which specializes in teaching deaf and hard of hearing children to listen, talk, think and socialize.
