All Out Arts, with license from the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) and Broadway Impact, is proud to announce as part of the Fresh Fruit Festival a one-night only reading of 8, a play chronicling the historic trial in the federal constitutional challenge to California's Proposition 8, written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter and AFER founding board member Dustin Lance Black.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to present "In Full Bloom," a benefit concert for The Wishing Kids Foundation. The event will be produced by Ryan Murray, a graduate of NYU-Tisch, Cap 21, and an Avenue Q cast alumni.

On Friday, July 27, All Out Arts will present a reading of '8' by Dustin Lance Black, as a part of its Fresh Fruit Festival. Directed by Brian Maschka, the cast features Jenn Colella, Rick Elice, Mark Fisher, Patrick Hustad, Dan Lauria, Susan O'Connor, Karen Oster, Destan Owens, Roger Rees, Al Sapienza, and David Turner.

When all is said and done, Great Lakes Theater should be extremely proud of its first collaboration of PlayhouseSquare as part of the annual Key Bank Broadway Series. Theatre Aspen's upcoming summer season, reported Artistic Director Paige Price. The award-winning regional theatre unveiled the brand new Hurst Theatre in Rio Grande Park on June 24th with two musicals and a comedy. The theatre's 28th season of summer repertory features the regional premiere of Becky's New Car, by native Coloradan Steven Dietz, starring Emmy- and Tony-nominee Sandy Duncan. Opening July 7th is the beloved musical Annie, by Thomas Meehan (book), Charles Strouse (music) and Martin Charnin (lyrics), and the new musical Vices: A Love Story, (story by Michael Heitzman & Ilene Reid, and music and lyrics by Susan Draus, Everett Bradley, Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid). Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Producing Artistic Director), will celebrate the Centennial Year of its late founder Rosetta LeNoire at a Gala evening on Monday, April 4th, featuring a special 'Blast from the Past' concert of William Finn's songs from the celebrated Romance in Hard Times, starring Tony-Winner Lillias White and a veteran cast of Broadway professionals. The event takes place at the Baruch Performing Arts Center, East 25th Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenues, at 7pm.
