The gala, which raised a record $77,000 for Castillo and its youth theatre training program, Youth Onstage!, paid tribute to four influential women of the theatre: Carmen De Lavallade, Gabrielle L. Kurlander, Judith Malina and Daphne Rubin-Vega.
