Capezio will celebrate 125 years of excellence with a one-night only special show on Monday, April 23 at 7:00 pm at New York City Center, 131 West 55 Street (btwn. 6th & 7th Ave) NYC. The show highlights some of history of Capezio. This is a dance show/celebration with a great diversity of American dance talent, including performers from: American Ballet Theatre, Ann Reinking, Bad Boys of Dance, Break the Floor, Cirque du Soleil, Dance Sport Ballroom, Desmond Richardson, Iluminate, Industrial Rhythm, Mark Stuart Dance Theater, MOMIX, Mr. Wiggles, New York City Ballet, Noah Racey and the New York Song and Dance Company, Rock Steady Crew, the Rockettes, So You Think You Can Dance, Tommy Tune, Travis Hall, and the World Cup All Stars Cheerleaders.

On November 7th more than 150 theatre artists and patrons attended the 2011 Castillo Theatre Gala Benefit at the All Stars Project's performing arts and development center, 543 West 42nd Street. The gala, which raised a record $77,000 for Castillo and its youth theatre training program, Youth Onstage!, paid tribute to four influential women of the theatre: Carmen de Lavallade, Gabrielle L. Kurlander, Judith Malina and Daphne Rubin-Vega.
