Hal David, Chairman/CEO of the Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF), today announced that Maxyne Lang will receive the Abe Olman Publisher Award to be presented at the 2009 Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards 40th Anniversary gala, slated for Thursday, June 18th, at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel.

The 4th annual ASCAP 'I Create Music' EXPO, the premier conference for songwriters, composers and producers, will be taking place at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, California, April 23-25, 2009. The three-day conference covers all genres of music and includes panels, workshops, master classes, keynotes, song critiquing, networking events, product displays, state-of-the-art technology demonstrations, performances, and more.
