The New Group's STICKS AND BONES Begins Previews Tonight

David Rabe's Sticks and Bones launches The New Group's 20th Anniversary Season. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production features Richard Chamberlain, Nadia Gan, Holly Hunter, Morocco Omari, Bill Pullman, Ben Schnetzer and Raviv Ullman. Previews begin tonight, October 21 in advance of an Official Opening Night on Thursday, November 6. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays through December 14 at The New Group at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

ANYTHING GOES National Tour to Play Texas Performing Arts, 12/9-14

The national tour of ANYTHING GOES, the new Broadway revival of Cole Porter's timeless classic musical theatre masterpiece, will make its Austin premiere December 9 - 14 as part of the Lexus Broadway in Austin at Texas Performing Arts.

Tony Sheldon Replaces Roger Rees in Encores! THE BAND WAGON

Tony Award nominee Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) has joined the cast of the Encores! Special Event The Band Wagon in the role of Jeffrey Cordova, an egotistical British director. (Roger Rees, previously announced in the role, is no longer available.) The Band Wagon cast stars Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, seven-time Emmy Award winner Tracey Ullman, Academy Award nominee Michael McKean, Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes, Tony Award nominee Michael Berresse and Don Stephenson. The Band Wagon will open on Sunday, November 8.

NBC's PETER PAN Finds Its Pirates, Lost Boys and Darling Children; Complete Casting Announced!

NBC's PETER PAN LIVE, the network special from executive producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, will air on December 4. Preparing to sprinkle fairy dust across America, NBC presents a bold new LIVE television production of the classic Broadway musical that will gather friends, families and anyone who refuses to ever grow up. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the special will star Allison Williams, Christopher Walken, Christian Borle, Kelli O'Hara, Taylor Louderman and Alanna Saunders for the live production.

Howard McGillin, Corey Cott, Steffanie Leigh & More Join Vanessa Hudgens in Broadway-Bound GIGI

Additional casting has been announced for the new Broadway production of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's beloved Oscar and Tony Award-winning film and stage musical, Gigi. Joining the previously announced Vanessa Hudgens in the title role will be two-time Tony Award-nominee Howard McGillin (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Anything Goes, The Phantom of the Opera) as Honore Lachaille, Corey Cott (Newsies) as Gaston Lachaille and Steffanie Leigh(Mary Poppins) as Liane d'Exelmans. Casting for the roles of Madame Alvarez and Aunt Alicia will be announced soon.

STAGE TUBE: Backstage with THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN's Beth Malone and More

The world premiere of a new version of the Meredith Willson musical, THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, is open at the Denver Center Theatre Company. Host of 'In Focus', Eden Lane learns about the project from the creative team Dick Scanlan and the Director/Choreographer Kathleen Marshall. Beth Malone (Molly Brown) and Burke Moses (J.J. The Denver Center Theatre Company presents the highly anticipated new adaptation of Meredith Willson's classic musical, THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN. Based on the book by Richard Morris, the revitalized production will feature a new book and additional lyrics by three-time Tony Award nominee Dick Scanlan (Thoroughly Modern Millie) and showcase never before heard songs from Willson's prolific body of work with musical adaptation by Michael Rafter(Violet). It is be directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes). Check out a first look at the opening night party.

Katie Brayben to Star in West End's BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL, February

Katie Brayben will play the title role in the West End production of Beautiful - The Carole King Musicalopening at the Aldwych Theatre in February next year. Alan Morrissey will play King's husband and song-writing partner Gerry Goffin, with Lorna Want as song-writer Cynthia Weil, Glynis Barber as Genie Klein, King's mother, and Gary Trainor as music publisher and producer Don Kirshner. London previews beginning on 10 February 2015 and with the show currently booking to 13 June 2015. Press night will now take place on 24 February at 7pm. Final casting will be announced shortly.

West End's BEAUTIFUL Has Found Its 'Carole King'

According to the Daily Mail, the West End production of BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL has found its leading lady. Katie Brayben will star in the title role when the show moves across the pond in February 2015.
