Longtime CBS/NBC TV news reporter-critic David Sheehan has updated his new one-hour internet Oscar extravaganza 'AND THE WINNERS ARE ...' to open with a journalistic acknowledgement of the current controversy about the absence of African-Americans in this year's Academy Awards nominations. The opening features a leadoff interview with Will Smith, whose highly touted performance in 'Concussion' was ignored, adding more momentum to Smith's own viral social media protest hashtag #OscarsSoWhite.
On Saturday, Universal Studios played host to the Wisteria Lane Block Party in Universal City, California.
