FULL Line-up of TONY Presenters Revealed - From Abdul to Welch!

The Tony Awards today announced the full line-up of presenters and performers who are scheduled to take the stage at the 64th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The 2010 Tony Awards will air live on CBS, on Sunday, June 13th 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay) and are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Starz Presents THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH Event Beginning 7/23

Starz Entertainment has acquired U.S. television rights to TANDEM Communications' ground-breaking eight-hour television adaptation of Ken Follett's bestselling novel 'The Pillars of the Earth.' Starz kicks-off with a two-hour premiere of the series, produced by Tandem Communications, MUSE Entertainment and Ridley and Tony Scott's SCOTT FREE Films, on July 23 at 10pm et/pt. The hour-long eight-part series will air Fridays at 10pm et/pt.

JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE: GAME NIGHT Announces All-Star Guest Lineup

Emmy Award-winning 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' presents a special half-hour primetime show each night of the NBA Finals beginning Thursday, June 3 on ABC. Join host Jimmy Kimmel as he welcomes guests including Russell Brand, Ashton Kutcher, the cast of 'Grown Ups' -- Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade and Rob Schneider -- plus a first time appearance by Drew Barrymore. In addition to guest interviews, signature comedy pieces will air throughout the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night' primetime specials featuring 2009 NBA Finals MVP Kobe Bryant, 2009 and 2010 NBA MVP LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony.

FENCES Breaks Box Office Record At Cort Theatre & Recoups

The first Broadway revival of August Wilson's 1987 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play FENCES, broke the box office record for the second time at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, NYC) for the week ending June 6, 2010, grossing $1,024,316.50.

FELA!, IDIOT, Michele, Morrison, Zeta-Jones et al. to Perform at 2010 Tony Awards; Full Line-up Announced!

The Tony Awards today announced their line-up of performances for the 64th Annual Tony Awards Telecast on Sunday, June 13th. The show will be packed with entertainment from start to finish including a phenomenal opening and performances by Tony-nominated Best Musicals American Idiot, Fela!, Memphis and Million Dollar Quartet as well as the Tony-nominated Best Musical Revivals La Cage aux Folles featuring Kelsey Grammer, A Little Night Music featuring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Ragtime. Also taking the stage throughout the evening will be Green Day, Glee's Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison, as well as cast members from Come Fly Away and Promises, Promises.

FENCES Grosses Over $1 Million for Second Week

The current Broadway production of FENCES, written by August Wilson and starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis, just reported its second week of over one million dollars in grosses, according to www.deadline.com. FENCES reported grossing $1,002,750 last week. The week of May 9, FENCES grossed $1,008,103.50, grossing more than any previous production at the Cort Theatre, where it is playing.

Dianne Wiest and Cast of THE FOREST Perform Final Show at Classic Stage, 5/30

Classic Stage Company (CSC), under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, will present two-time Academy Award-winner Dianne Wiest in THE FOREST, by Alexander Ostrovosky, translated by Kathleen Tolan, and directed by Brian Kulick, beginning performances Friday, April 23 at CSC with an official press opening Thursday, May 6 at 7pm. THE FOREST will also star Obie Award-winning actor John Douglas Thompson, who earned great acclaim last year for his title role performance in Othello at Theatre for a New Audience. THE FOREST will play a limited engagement through Sunday May 30 only.
