BROADWAY BARES returns again to its roots as the 2013 BARES season continues with BROADWAY BARES: SOLO STRIPS at 9 pm on Sunday, May 5 at XL Nightclub (512 West 42nd Street, NYC).

An extremely limited number of $20 rush tickets to this year's star-studded BROADWAY BACKWARDS will be released for sale at 6:30 PM Monday, March 18, 2013. The rush tickets will be sold in the lobby of the Palace Theater (1564 Broadway). They will not be available at the box office. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, cash only and are limited to two tickets per person. The show begins at 8 PM.

Shout! Factory, and its Broadway cast imprint Shout! Broadway, has just announced that it will release and distribute the New Broadway Cast Recording for the critically- acclaimed production of the classic Broadway musical, Annie.

Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Lynch, who stars in the hit FOX television show 'Glee' as ruthless cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, will take on another great tyrannical role as evil orphanage matron Miss Hannigan in the new Broadway production of ANNIE at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway between 46th and 47th Streets). Lynch, a stage veteran of Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company and The Second City, will be making her Broadway debut. She will play Miss Hannigan for eight weeks only, from Thursday, May 16 through Sunday, July 14.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Sadie Sink and Brooklyn Shuck have joined the cast of Annie at the Palace Theatre as standbys for sevral of the orphans. Sink will be the standby for Annie, Tessie, Duffy, July and Kate, and Shuck for Molly, Kate, Tessie, July and Duffy.

The new Broadway production of ANNIE celebrates its 100th performance on Saturday, February 2 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street). The cast of the acclaimed production will celebrate the milestone with cupcakes generously provided by Magnolia Bakery.

American Airlines is the official airline of the new critically acclaimed new production of the Tony Award-winning musical Annie. Cast members from the production performed a selection of songs from the show at Terminal 8 at John F. The Foundling just hosted a pre-performance reception at The Palace Theatre featuring a special performance by students from The Foundling's charter school in the South Bronx, who serenaded ANNIE composer Charles Strouse with their own rendition of "Tomorrow."
