BRAVO, GIOVANNI closed just in time for her to be available to replace the leading lady of the biggest smash in town.

After breaking box office records in the four previous engagements, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to the Fabulous Fox Theatre this holiday season from December 9 - January 3.  Tickets for the return engagement go on sale Saturday, September 19. Tickets will be available online at MetroTix.com, by phone at 314-534-1111 and in person at the Fox Theatre Box Office.

The WICKED Tour will welcome Jake Boyd as Fiyero, Wendy Worthington as Madame Morrible and Stuart Zagnit as The Wizard beginning Wednesday, August 26 at ASU Gammage in Tempe.

Broadway In Chicago has announced that Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, returns to Chicago to play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W Randolph) for one week only, November 10-15, 2015.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Decca Broadway/Universal Music Classics will release the 2015 Broadway Cast Recording of the Lincoln Center Theater production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I, starring Kelli O'Hara as Anna Leonowens and Ken Watanabe as the King of Siam, available digitally June 2 and physically on June 9. The complete tracklist  has been revealed, and fans of the musical might noticed that some songs (including the Act 1 Finale and Hello, Young Lovers Reprise) did not make the cut.  The tracklist is as follows:

Good News Musical Theatre Fans! BroadwayWorld.com has confirmed Lincoln Center Theater's THE KING AND I, which features a cast led by Kelli O'Hara (as Anna Leonowens) and Ken Watanabe (as the King of Siam) will receive a cast recording this summer on the the Decca Broadway / Universal Music Classics label, produced by David Lai David Caddick and Bruce Pomahac. Of note, the the production features the musical's original 1951 orchestrations by Robert Russell Bennett with dance and incidental music arranged by Trude Rittmann. Music director Ted Sperling conducts a 29-piece orchestra which will be heard on the album as well.

Tonight, March 6, noted arranger Fred Barton will bring the music of Broadway and the American Songbook showmanship to the Schimmel Center at Pace University in American Showstoppers: An Evening of Irving Berlin.

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2012, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to Tempe's ASU Gammage. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale Monday, March 30 at 10 a.m. at the ASU Gammage Box Office and at asugamamge.com. Ticket prices start at $34. WICKED runs August 26-October 4.

On Friday, March 6, noted arranger Fred Barton will bring the music of Broadway and the American Songbook showmanship to the Schimmel Center at Pace University in American Showstoppers: An Evening of Irving Berlin. Hailed by George Gershwin as 'the greatest songwriter that has ever lived,' the legendary Irving Berlin composed some of the most influential and widely-known songs ever written, many of which have come to form the Great American Songbook. Fred Barton now brings the power of Berlin's Broadway sound front and center, with a hot 14-piece orchestra and a cast of 17 Broadway singers and dancers, and direction and choreography by Jason Wise.

The company of the Munchkinland tour of Wicked welcomes Alyssa Fox as Elphaba and Liana Hunt as Nessarose beginning tonight, January 28 in Greenville, SC.
