Photo Flash: First Look - Hudson Guild Theatre's A TIME TRAVELER'S TRIP TO NIAGRA

America-in-Play presents the premiere of A Time-Traveler's Trip to Niagra, Following the Bold Adventures and Strange Detours of an Unlikely Group of Travelers Across Time and America. Running through May 18 at the Hudson Guild Theatre (441 West 26th Street), this unique comedy interweaves two journeys up the Hudson River: one by bus in 2014 and one by steamboat in 1828. From upper class Brits taking a tour of the Early Republic to a modern brother and sister taking a bus ride upstate to trace their roots, the two trips converge at the iconic and spectacular Niagara Falls and aim to investigate the relationship between the American landscape and identity while exploring ties between past and future. A unique 'Dime Museum' exploring Americana and the play will be open 30 minutes before each performance. Check out a first look below!

Dramatists Guild of America Teams with Kyle Ewalt and Michael Ian Walker for DG Conservatory, 2/11

For the first DG Conservatory of the new year, the Dramatists Guild is thrilled to team up with the writers who created Behind the Music-al, Kyle Ewalt and Michael Ian Walker, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Dramatists Guild's New York office, in the Frederick Loewe Room, 1501 Broadway (between 43rd and 44th Streets), Suite 710. This free seminar is opening a limited number of seats to the public and reservations are required.

The Lied Center for Performing Arts is thrilled to announce the Lincoln premiere of the ASCAP New Musical Theatre Workshop. This exciting event, held annually in New York and Los Angeles, hits Lincoln today, September 10 - 12, 2013 and offers artists the opportunity to 'Grow A Show' with the help of renowned industry experts. The workshop will center on staged readings of selected new works from across the United States. The Lied Center has developed a musical theatre festival to accompany this prestigious workshop, which includes master classes and a concert which will incorporate local talent and visiting Broadway guest artists.

American Lyric Theater Presents THE LIVING LIBRETTO at National Opera Center Tonight

American Lyric Theater presents the next installment in its popular series, The Living Libretto, at the National Opera Center, tonight, February 6th, 2013. Featuring guest actors from the Broadway and off-Broadway stage, each event is the culminating reading of extensive libretto workshops conducted for new operas currently being written by ALT Resident Artists.
