Ghostlight Records will release the PRELUDES Original Cast Recording in digital formats and in stores on January 8, 2016. Produced by LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and engaging new audiences, PRELUDES is a new musical by Dave Malloy, inspired by the music of Sergei Rachmaninoff, developed with and directed by Rachel Chavkin.

Ghostlight Records will release the Original Cast Album of the hit, headline-making Off-Broadway musical Clinton The Musical on Friday, October 30; with international digital release and physical CDs in stores and online Friday, November 20. The production has book, music and lyrics by Paul Hodge, book by Paul Hodge and Michael Hodge, and was directed and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Dan Knechtges with musical direction by James Dobinson and orchestrations by Neil Douglas Reilly. Clinton The Musical was produced by Kari Lynn Hearn of CoolChic Productions, and with Ken Davenport serving as executive producer. Three of Broadway's most popular musical creators, Steven Lutvak, Jeanine Tesori, and David Yazbek, recently gathered to perform their own work in an intimate evening of music as part of the Library of Congress' Songs of America project. NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, named one of the Best Musicals of 2013 by The New York Times and one of Time Magazine's Top 10 Musicals of 2013, will close today at Kazino (45th Street between Times Square and 8th Avenue). In addition, today is the final day to give to the Kickstarter that was set up to help fund the filming of the show. The current tally, as of 8:30am, is 235 backers, who have pledged $36,899 of the $250,000 goal, with 15 hours to go.

Entertainment Weekly writes that the producers of off-Broadway's NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 are planning a film adaptation of the interactive, operatic stage spectacle and will launch a Kickstarter campaign this coming Tuesday, February 11, to help fund the venture. The goal is currently set for $500,000.

Barnes & Noble just celebrated the release of the new Ghostlight Records cast recording NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 with a special in-store performance and CD signing yesterday, December 10, the CD release date. The event was hosted by composer/writer Dave Malloy and included director Rachel Chavkin and members of the original cast.
