Registration is now open for the Fall Session of On Camera Acting Classes, beginning September 12th & 13th, 2010 at JTA Talent in Charlotte. Taught by professional actor Martin Thompson, these classes are appropriate for both aspiring actors and professionals who would like to improve their skills. Class registration is limited and will be accepted one week prior to the first class of each session.

Today, we are taking a listen to ANYONE CAN WHISTLE and COMPANY, two of the most genre-bending and revolutionary musicals of the latter twentieth century, both boasting Sondheim's strongest songs of the sixties. These recordings contain some of the most legendary and illustrious Broadway casts of all time and include the names Angela Lansbury, Lee Remick, Bernadette Peters, Elaine Stritch, Raul Esparza, Dean Jones, Larry Kert and Jane Krakowski, just to name a few...
Casting directors can tell you what they want to see at an audition. But, in this workshop you'll discover how to actually get there, from the actor's perspective! This full-day workshop will lead actors through the process of booking the job, using unique audition strategies that allow the actor to win every time! And, we'll focus on the mechanics and special techniques required to nail your audition in front of the camera. All participants will be video-taped, using actual scenes from television shows and movies that have been auditioned and filmed in our area.

They join the show January 6 through January 31, 2009, alongside the returning Katie Finneran. Love, Loss, and What I Wore, an intimate collection of stories by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, directed by Karen Carpenter and based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman, opened October 1, 2009 to rave reviews at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street, NYC) and has been extended through March 2010.
