After exceeding box office expectations, former Saturday Night Live funny-girl Cheri Oteri has announced she will extend her four-week run in off Broadway's NEWSical The Musical for two additional weeks. Ms Oteri's last scheduled performance was originally scheduled for December 30th; due to popular demand, she will now continue through January 13th.

Sony Pictures Television has sold the cable syndication rights to the CBS hit comedy series Rules of Engagement to Turner Broadcasting's TBS, it was announced today by John Weiser, President of U.S. Distribution, Sony Pictures Television.

Known for her trademark clever observations, sharp timing and soft-spoken humor, Rudner will take the mic for a special residency through December 30. Rudner's show is at 8:30 p.m.
