Award-winning PBS producer and author Slash Coleman will present the stage version of his best selling book, The Bohemian Love Diaries, at the 4th Annual United Solo Theater Festival tonight, November 23, 2013 at 6:00 pm. The festival, which is an annual international festival for solo performances held at Theatre ROW in the heart of the New York City theatre district on 42nd Street runs from October 3 - November 24, 2012.

The McAninch Arts Center (MAC), located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, is pleased to announce its 2014 Grand Opening Season's Performance Series. The series is part of the MAC's 2014 Grand Opening season, marking the opening of the venue after a 14-month, $35 million renovation. The MAC's 2014 Grand Opening Season's Performance Series officially opens on Feb. 8 with a performance by Grammy Award-winner 'Keb Mo'. Additional programming for the MAC, including the MAC's new Patio Stage summer season and the MAC's 2014-15 season, the first complete season in the newly renovated venue, will be announced in spring 2014.
Rubicon Theatre Company is expanding its reach into several Ventura County communities as it plays host to 150 children and family members from surrounding areas. On November 29th, The Angel Heart Foundation and Marion Witte are sponsoring an afternoon of activities at Rubicon Theatre for families who have not previously been exposed to a live-theatre production. The event will include a matinee production of A RUBICON FAMILY CHRISTMAS, photos with Santa, Frosty and Rudolph, snacks and refreshments as well as a personalized gift bag for each child.

The festivities begin with the return of a holiday revue with six Broadway singers and a local children's chorus; followed by a late-night adult comedy presented in a cabaret setting; a poetic reading of wartime love letters; and culminating with an enchanting new musical from the Tony and Olivier Award-winning director of Les Miserables and Nicholas Nickleby and the creators of Jane Eyre and Daddy Long Legs, who will have a five-week residency at Rubicon during the holidays.
Screen Media Films and Starz Digital Media, the digital distribution unit of Starz, have partnered to acquire all North American rights to Ellie Kanner's comedy AUTHORS ANONYMOUS, which stars Kaley Cuoco, Chris Klein, Dennis Farina, Jonathan Bennett, Dylan Walsh, and Teri Polo. The film is slated for early Spring 2014 release date across VOD and digital platforms and in select theaters.

At the Mile High Holidays press conference today, Crumpet (Matt Zambrano) from The SantaLand Diaries provided Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock instructions on how to be a proper elf. 'I suspected Mayor Hancock (or 'Manning-elf' as he called himself) may have missed his true calling as a dancing holiday elf. I think I suspected right.'- Crumpet from The SantaLand Diaries, played by Matt Zambrano. The SantaLand Diaries will be at the Garner Galleria Theatre from November 29 through December 24. Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) is proud to present the cult holiday classic, The Santaland Diaries, adapted by Joe Mantello from the essay by humorist and best selling author David Sedaris. Sedaris' hilarious account of his time as an elf in Macy's Santaland display will run every Thursday through Sunday at Maryland Ensemble Theatre from December 6 through 29.
