David Sedaris Set for Merrill Auditorium Tonight
Portland Ovations brings humorist David Sedaris to Merrill Auditorium tonight, November 21 at 7:30pm for a sold out evening of cutting wit and social satire.
David Sedaris returns to Portland sharing his latest book Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls. With great skill Sedaris slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proving he is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today. The Washington Post has hailed him as "one of America's most prickly, and most delicious, comic talents." Past titles, including The New York Times Bestseller Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk, When You Are Engulfed in Flames, Barrel Fever, Holidays on Ice, Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, and Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, have kept him at the forefront of American culture since his early days recounting his time as a Santaland elf.
