Opening December 20th for an exclusive four-day engagement is the return of the comedic duo of The SantaLand Diaries & Season's Greetings from award-winning humorist David Sedaris and adapted for the stage by acclaimed director Joe Mantello and featuring Joe Bailey and Joe Plambeck.

This holiday season, Flashpoint Theatre Company presents its 10th Anniversary performance of "The Santaland Diaries," famed author David Sedaris' real-life story memorializing his time spent as a misguided Christmas elf in Macy's Santaland display. Barrymore Award nominee and Flashpoint alum Keith Conallen takes on this one-man show in the role of Crumpet, Sedaris' lovable, curmudgeonly elf, and brings you another year of vicious laughter and heartwarming holiday spirit.

Portland Stage Studio Theatre's Christmas reprise of David Sedaris' Santaland Diaries is eighty-five minutes of rollicking, wicked good fun (as Mainers like to say!). This is due not only to Sedaris' mordant comic style, but also to the chameleon brilliance of Dustin Tucker as Elf Crumpet.

2013 MIDWINTER'S TALES: SIMPLE GIFTS - A Celebration of the Season in Music and Musings, benefiting both Oak Park Festival Theatre and Prevail (formerly Oak Park River Forest Walk In Ministry) will be held at 7 PM, tonight, December 7, 2013, at the Unity Temple in Oak Park, Illinois.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and while the hustle and bustle of the season is in full force, the Alley Theatre is presenting Houston audiences with the ultimate holiday treat. Back by popular demand, David Sedaris' cult Christmas classic THE SANTALAND DIARIES, adapted for stage by Joe Mantell, continues to delight with a hearty dose of humor and sardonic wit. The one-man play leaves the audience in stitches as they follow Crumpet the Elf, who turns the magic of the iconic Macy's Santaland at Manhattan's Herald Square on its very head.

The Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC) was awarded the Boulder Arts Commission's Arts and Business Collaborative Grant on Wednesday evening, November 21, 2013. The $25,000 award was received for aproposed collaboration with Fiske Planetarium. These partnering organizations will create a 'Star Power Series' of immersive events incorporating state-of-the-art planetarium projection technology with live performance.

Rubicon's November/ December HOLIDAY CENTRAL calendar offers a sparkling array of more than 35 shows and events for all ages. The festivities begin with the return of a holiday revue with six Broadway singers and a local children's chorus; followed by a late-night adult comedy presented in a cabaret setting; a poetic reading of wartime love letters; and culminating with an enchanting new musical from the Tony and Olivier Award-winning director of Les Miserables and Nicholas Nickleby and the creators of Jane Eyre and Daddy Long Legs, who will have a five-week residency at Rubicon during the holidays.

Recommended for mature audiences due to language and subject matter.

Garret Storms will make his WaterTower Theatre debut as David (Crumpet the Elf) in the David Sedaris holiday season comedy The Santaland Diaries, December 13 to 29, 2013, in the Studio Theatre at the Addison Theatre and Conference Centre.
