BWW Review: THE PRODUCERS at Paper Mill Playhouse is Fabulous Entertainment

The Producers, now being performed at Paper Mill Playhouse through October 23rd, is a fabulous production of the hilarious hit musical. Directed by Don Stephenson, choreographed by Bill Burns with musical direction by James P. Moore, the show shines bright on the Millburn stage.

THE PRODUCERS Begins Performances Tomorrow at Paper Mill Playhouse

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director), recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, launches the 2016-2017 season with Mel Brooks' award-winning musical The Producers, directed by Don Stephenson and choreographed by Bill Burns. The Producers features music and lyrics by Mel Brooks, a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and the original Broadway direction and choreography by Susan Stroman.

Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, has just announced complete casting for Mel Brooks' award-winning musical The Producers, directed by Don Stephenson and choreographed by Bill Burns. The Producers features music and lyrics by Mel Brooks, a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and the original Broadway direction and choreography by Susan Stroman.

Denver Center Attraction Announces Nominees for The Bobby G Awards

Denver Center Attractions announces the 2013 nominees for The Bobby G Awards - the Colorado regional awards program for The National High School Musical Theater Awards. Fifteen public and private high schools in the seven Denver metro counties participated in the inaugural season. The awards ceremony, on May 30 at 7pm in The Seawell Grand Ballroom, includes performances from the shows nominated for outstanding overall production and honors outstanding achievements by students and educators made in the areas of performance, design, direction, choreography, technical production and overall production excellence.

The New Classics Series returns on Sunday, January 23rd at 7:00 p.m. with Erik Ramsey's play Smith, Unearthed, directed by Martin Giles and performed in the Charity Randall Theatre at the Stephen Foster Memorial in Oakland. New Classics is a cooperative program presented by the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Theatre Arts and Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre. The series is intended to highlight new works and showcase up-and-coming playwrights.The reading is free and open to the public, and will be followed by a talk-back with the cast and audience. The moderators will be series coordinators Melissa Hill Grande, PICT Associate Artistic Director and Director of Marketing, and David Peterson, a graduate student in the Ph.D. program of the Department of Theatre Arts.

The reading is free and open to the public, and will be followed by a talk-back with the cast and audience. The moderators will be series coordinators Grande and David Peterson, a graduate student in the Ph.D. program of the Department of Theatre Arts.
