Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company (MJTC) has announced the opening of a new work by Jack Canfora, Jericho. This regional premiere runs from April 18 - May 10 at the Highland Park Center Theater, 1978 Ford Parkway, St. Paul, MN 55116. Tickets range in price from $19 - $28. Renowned violinist Sarah Chang will perform Bernstein's West Side Story Suite in all six NJSO venues statewide across two concert programs led by Music Director Jacques Lacombe, today, January 16 - 18 in Princeton, Red Bank and Morristown and January 22 - 25 in Englewood, Newark and New Brunswick. Chang's two-week residency with the NJSO, sponsored by Bank of America, anchors the Orchestra's 2015 Winter Festival: Sounds of Shakespeare.

UMS and New York Philharmonic to Launch 5-Year Residency Partnership in 2015

The University Musical Society of the University of Michigan and the New York Philharmonic have announced an ambitious five-year residency partnership, beginning with concerts and activities in October 2015. The partnership is the centerpiece of a larger program bringing three different orchestras to Ann Arbor's Hill Auditorium each season. Each residency will include multi-performance residencies, master classes and workshops for University of Michigan students, and activities for the regional community.

Premiering on Broadway in 1966, IT'S A BIRD… IT'S A PLANE… IT'S SUPERMAN was first presented in the UK by All Star Productions in March 2014 at Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre in Walthamstow. Unified, a solo show written and performed by David Newer, will play at the Theatre Row Complex (410 W. 42nd St.) as part of the United Solo Festival tonight, October 11th and 20th starting at 7:30PM. Erica Silberman directs Newer as he embodies 16 characters while recounting the chapter in his life as a substitute teacher in the often brutal L.A. Unified School System.
