Celebration Theatre in association with DEMAND PRoductions and Peter Schneider have announced the first show of its celebratory 30th Anniversary Season, the world premiere musical, JUSTIN LOVE, with book by Patricia Cotter and David Elzer, story by David Elzer and Bret Calder, music by Lori Scarlett and David Manning and lyrics by Lori Scarlett. The show will be directed by Michael Matthews with choreography by Janet Roston and musical direction by Gregory Nabours. JUSTIN LOVE will begin previews on Friday, September 7, and will open on Friday, September 21, running through Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Celebration Theatre, 7051B Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood.

Tony Sias, Director of Arts Education for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, co-directs the production with Kimberly Brown. Based on the original screenplay by Dean Pitchford, Footloose was adapted for the stage by Dean Pitchford and Walter Bobbie. The show's music was written by Tom Snow with lyrics by Dean Pitchford. Additional music for Footloose was written by Eric Carmen, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins and Jim Steinman.

About an hour and a half outside New York City in the ocean side town of Asbury park lies the Revision theatre, a non-profit regional housed in an historic carousel house that was once part of Asbury's Palace Amusement Park. The carousel is gone and in its place is a fully-developed theatre-in-the-round where Revision is currently running its fourth season. 'Dedicated to producing invigorating theatre with a fresh new perspective', the company offers both original and revival productions, with the current season leaning towards edgier fare. This year Revision presented productions of 'Spring Awakening' and 'Xanadu', and its December holiday-themed show for families is well balanced with a Halloween production of 'Little Shop of Horrors'.
