American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) continues its 2011-12 season with Wild Swans, the first stage version of Jung Chang's astonishing personal memoir.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) has scheduled two American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performances and one audio described performance of the family production of The Snow Queen and two ASL interpreted performances and two audio described performances of the world premiere production Wild Swans based on the bestselling memoir by Jung Chang.

Broadway stars Barbara Walsh (Company) and Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Avenue Q) performed in a sold-out benefit reading of A. R. Gurney's classic play, The Dining Room. Also in the cast were Bill Connington (Zombie), David M. Lutken, (Inherit the Wind), Annmarie Benedict (Robeson) and Tony Wolf (The Action Room).

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) continues its 2011-12 season with Three Pianos by Rick Burkhardt, Alec Duffy and Dave Malloy, with music from Franz Schubert's Winterreise, Op. 89, D911 (1828), directed by Rachel Chavkin.

On Thursday, Chaz Bono ('Dancing with the Stars') visited with the company of SOUTHERN COMFORT, the new hit musical about transgender friends in rural Georgia, at CAP21 (18 West 18th Street, 5th floor). Based on Kate Davis' award-winning documentary, the musical has recently been extended through November 5.

CAP 21 Theatre Company announces a one-week extension of the hit new musical SOUTHERN COMFORT, by Dan Collins (book and lyrics) and Julianne Wick Davis (music), based on Kate Davis' 2001 Sundance award-winning documentary about transgender friends in rural Georgia.

Artistic Director Diane Paulus, with choreography by Ronald K. Brown, begins previews on August 17 and opens for the reviewing press on August 31 at 7pm. Performances are at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge. Tickets for preview performances are currently on sale, remaining tickets for the run go on sale on July 12.
