Studio Six of the Moscow Art Theater presents Woman at the Funerals, a new play about human malfunction and a budding funeral planner written by Elena Balyberdina. Ben Sargent will direct a cast of twelve including Stewart Alden, Cameron Berner, John Blaylock, Tonya Marie Canady, David M. Farrington, Doug Hartwyk, Sarah Michelle McAvoy, Pete Macnamara, Samantha Opitz, Benjamin Russell, Najla Said, and RaShelle Stocker. Woman at the Funerals will be staged for 16 performances at IATI Theater, 64 East 4th Street in NYC from June 13-29, 2014.

Studio Six of The Moscow Art Theater presents two industry-only staged readings of Woman at the Funerals, a new comedy about human malfunction and a budding funeral planner written by Elena Balyberdina, to be presented on Saturday, May 3rd at 5pm and Sunday, May 4th at 7pm at IATI Theater, 64 East 4th Street in NYC. Ben Sargent will direct a cast of twelve including Stewart Alden, Cameron Berner, John Blaylock*, Tonya Marie Canady, David M. Farrington, Doug Hartwyk, Sarah Michelle McAvoy*, Pete Macnamara, Samantha Opitz, Benjamin Russell, Najla Said*, and RaShelle Stocker. *Member, Actors' Equity Association.

Brazen Theater presents the world premier of The Miss Longview Texas Drag Pageant, a new play written and directed by Mark Hookerbeginning December 12th at the John DeSotelle Studio #301 in the Times Square Arts Building. The show runs five performances through December 15th prior to an extended engagement at the same venue scheduled for January 17th thru February 2nd of 2014. The cast includesRobert Agis (Law and Order) , David M. Farrington (Baptized at FringeNYC), Annabel Guevara (Teatro Vivo), Daniel Keith (Rambler),Chris Rivera (Hedwig and The Angry Inch), Max Henry Schloner (The Shape of Things), Nathan Shapiro (The Pillowman), Scott Silvestro (Raft of Medusa) and Ali Wetzel (Women of Manhattan).

Horse Trade Theater Group and Spookfish Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of ADVANCE GUARD by Ming Peiffer, tonight, May 8-19 at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street). The production will be directed by Kat Yen (Pornography for the People; The ABC's Guide to Getting Famous) and will feature David M. Farrington, Ben Kaufman, Alesandra Nahodil, Eamon O'Rourke, Matt Stillo, and Mari Yamamoto. The creative team will include Lighting Design by Porsche McGovern and Set Design by Norihito Moriya.
