A once-in-a-lifetime Broadway event took place yesterday, December 21, following the matinee performance of The Last Ship when patrons were invited to meet Sting and members of the cast on stage at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 W. 52 St.) as they signed copies of the recently released Original Broadway Cast Recording. 16-time Grammy Award winning musician Sting, who now stars in The Last Ship (for which he also composed the score), was joined by cast mates Michael Esper, Rachel Tucker, Jimmy Nail,Fred Applegate, Aaron Lazar, Sally Ann Triplett and Collin Kelly-Sordelet.

After an acclaimed Off-Broadway engagement, THE BRIGHTNESS OF HEAVEN, a new play by best-selling author Laura Pedersen, directed by Ludovica Villar-Hauser, will soon be presented in regional productions, and will start the new year with two presentations at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Hilton NY Midtown (1335 Avenue of the Americas) in the Regents Parlor (scheduled for 4:40 PM and 11:25 PM). The critically acclaimed UK premiere of Jerry Mitchell's Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will end its run at The Savoy Theatre on 7 March 2015, according to The Stage.
