Paper Mill Playhouse has announced the full cast for its production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame (which first played to rave reviews in La Jolla). Inspired by the classic Victor Hugo novel, The Hunchback of Notre Dame has a book by Peter Parnell, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. The Hunchback of Notre Dame is directed by Scott Schwartz and choreographed by Chase Brock.

Buckwheat Zydeco to Play Patchogue Theatre, 3/14

Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) will present Louisiana's hottest Creole music, Buckwheat Zydeco and his band, on Saturday, March 14, at 8 p.m. Buckwheat brings the Louisiana zydeco music scene to Patchogue for the first time. Buckwheat Zydeco is the stage name of Stanley Dural, Jr., born November 14, 1947, an American accordionist and zydeco musician. He is one of the few zydeco artists to achieve mainstream success. His music group is formally billed as Buckwheat Zydeco and Ils Son Partis Band, but often they perform as merely Buckwheat Zydeco.
