With its late-night lineup of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” at 11:35 p.m. and “Nightline” at 12:35 a.m. during the 1st quarter of 2015, ABC was up from the year-ago quarter by 3% in Total Viewers (2.399 million vs. 2.322 million) to draw its largest 1Q audience in 12 years – since 2002.

'Chicago P.D.” (1.6/5 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew week to week by +7% in 18-49 rating (1.6 vs. 1.5), to capture its top rating since Feb. 18 (1.7). In total viewers, “Chicago P.D.” is up versus last week by +9% (6.886 million vs. 6.335 million).

The comics given the job of making the Friars laugh last night were not fooling around and the club rocked with laughter. The stand up comedy of MC Dave Konig, George Vanarthos, Michelle Tod, Nancy Lombardo, Michele Balan, Maria Schultz, Ross Bennett and producer Cory Kahaney were well received by members who have been well trained in the art of laughing by fellow Friars. Ross Bennett, recently a smash on David Letterman was especially effective. The intimate setting of the club's Milton Berle Room has been the scene of many fun filled evenings, and numerous comics have launched their careers in the mahogany walled space.

Wendy Liebman recently performed on America's Got Talent and made it to the semifinals. She has been a regular on the Late Show with David Letterman, and has appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. In addition, Wendy was the first stand-up comedian to perform on both The Rosie O'Donnell Show and The Rosie Show. She has done two half hour specials, one for HBO and one for Comedy Central, and in November 2011 her hour special “Wendy Liebman Taller on TV” premiered on Showtime. She currently co-hosts the radio show UNBOUND with Terri Nunn on KCSN, 88.5 FM in Los Angeles.

Comedian BRIAN REGAN will visit the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 8P as part of his 10-year, non-stop theatre tour. Since 2005, Regan's tour has visited close to 100 cities each year.
