The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN delivered its largest average weekly audience since February 2011 while matching its season-best adult 18-49 rating, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending May 8.

After nearly 6,000 broadcasts over more than 30 years, David Letterman is saying goodnight to his late-night audience one last time this month.

“Chicago P.D.” (1.6/5 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew +14% week to week in 18-49 (1.6 vs. 1.4) and by +5% in total viewers (6.837 million vs. 6.539 million).

“The Voice” (2.1/7 in 18-49, 9.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew +11% versus last week's 1.9 rating in these prelim fast-affiliate results in adults 18-49 and by +5% versus last week's 2.0 in official nationals.   In total viewers, “The Voice” is up +3% versus last week's fast-affil result (8.976 million vs. 8.753 million).
