Moonlight Stage Productions opens its 2009/10 winter season with Larry Shue's side-splitting comedy THE FOREIGNER beginning Thursday, November 12 and continuing through Sunday, November 29.

Abingdon Theatre Company, in an ongoing effort to recognize excellence in playwriting, is set to present its 2009 CHRISTOPHER BRIAN WOLK AWARD to author Joel Fields, best-known for writing episodes of TV's 'Ugly Betty,' 'Raising the Bar,' 'Commander in Chief' and 'Dirt,' for his new play HOW I FELL IN LOVE, during an award ceremony and staged reading on Monday, November 9 at 7:30pm at Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Reprise Theatre Company will present a month-long Richard Rodgers Celebration October 2-November 2 in a variety of venues across Los Angeles. The series of concerts, symposiums, staged readings, screenings and cabarets will explore the diversity and scope of the work of one of the most important figures in the American Musical.

Billy Crystal will perform his hit one-man show, 700 Sundays, at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts as a fundraising event for the organization. The performance will be followed by a black-tie dinner-dance in the Gimelstob Ballroom in the Cohen Pavilion.
