Producer Jonathan Burrows has announced that Megan Hilty and Aaron Lazar will star in a staged reading of his Broadway-bound revival of the Cole Porter musical Can-Can. Hilty will star as Pistache and Lazar as Aristide in the by-invitation-only presentation on July 15, 16 and 17 in New York City.

In examining how human beings are brought together and pulled apart by words, the songs range from devastating to laugh-out-loud funny. I strongly encourage every musical theatre aficionado in Los Angeles to see this show as I cannot offer enough praise for the entire production.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced that the staged reading of Vicki Cheatwood's Manicures & Monuments originally scheduled to be part of 2013 Out of the Loop Fringe Festival, March 7-17, 2013 at the Addison Theatre and Conference Centre will be postponed and performed at a later date to be announced. Changes in the playwright's schedule required the reading to be produced later in the spring. The reading was scheduled to be performed in the Stone Cottage on March 12 at 7:30 pm. WaterTower Theatre will announce the new date soon.
