Classic Stage Company (CSC), under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, will honor their board member Rosemarie Tichler, the highly-respected producer, casting director, teacher and author, at this year's annual benefit gala Monday evening, May 17 at Twenty Four Fifth. The Honorary Chair for the evening is Mike Nichols and Honorary Co-Chairs are Olympia Dukakis, Dianne Wiest, Walter Bobbie and James Lapine. Honorary Artists include F. Murray Abraham, Christopher Durang, Michael Greif, John Guare, Bill Irwin, S. Epatha Merkerson, Mandy Patinkin, Wallace Shawn and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Jenen, has announced details for their upcoming 2010-11 season, the esteemed downtown theater company's 44th, which will include five Mainstage productions, as well as their popular Special Series.

Ruthie Henshall has extended for five additional weeks as Roxie Hart. She'll now play through Sunday, July 18 -- instead of June 13 as originally announced. Also, Terra C. MacLeod returns as Velma Kelly starting tonight May 10th.

Dog & Pony Theatre Company, in association with Chicago DCA Theater, presents the world premiere of DEAD LETTER OFFICE. The production, conceived by Ben Viccellio, written by Philip Dawkins, and directed by Dieterich Gray, comes to Chicago DCA's Storefront Theater at 66 E. Randolph Street, from June 9 to July 18, 2010.

CoHo Productions began with a world premiere play written by a then-local playwright, Gary Cole, and directed by Robert Holden. Our first play was nominated for a Drammy award. Since then, CoHo Productions has used its unique co-production model to champion 6 additional world premieres, several Portland or northwest premieres, and sustained the highest quality of performance on stage and behind the scenes in earning 16 Drammy awards for its co-productions. THE FOREST will also star Obie Award-winning actor John Douglas Thompson, who earned great acclaim last year for his title role performance in Othello at Theatre for a New Audience. THE FOREST will play a limited engagement through Sunday May 30 only.

Pioneer Theatre Company has announced its 2010-11 season, which will include an eighth 'add-on' production of the electrifying pop-rock opera RENT, the winner of both the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1996.
