TWEED Music Series Presents REMEMBER: THE SONGS OF HARRY NILSSON 10/12

HOWL! Arts Project and TWEED Music Series present REMEMBER: THE SONGS OF HARRY NILSSON - a tribute to one of the latter 20th Century's greatest singer/songwriters -- on Wednesday, October 12 at 8:00pm at Theatre 80 (80 St. Marks Place) in Manhattan, as part of HOWL! ARTS PROJECT 2011. Carol Lipnik curates the evening directed by Kevin Malony, with musical direction by Charly Roth.

This season, Dixon Place will offer special 25th Anniversary Pricing, featuring free, $5 and $10 tickets for most fall shows as well as lounge specials including $5 beer, wine & well, plus special cocktails nightly.

Tony Award-winning actress Audra McDonald, who starred in the 2004 Broadway revival of A RAISIN IN THE SUN and currently stars in the ABC drama 'Private Practice,' attended Saturday night's benefit performance of the TWEED Fractured Classick RAISINETS IN THE SUNSHINE, presented as part of HOWL! ARTS PROJECT 2010 which continues through September 30.

Divine stars Charles Busch and Julie Halston take a night off from their own show 'The Divine Sister' to visit the HOWL! ARTS PROJECT at Theater 80 in the East Village for a benefit performance of the TWEED Fractured Classick RAISINETS IN THE SUNSHINE. Also celebrating with the cast on Friday night were restaurateur Florent Morellet and a sold-out crowd of theatergoers.
