End Days by Deborah Zoe Laufer will be performed at the Horizon Theatre from May 29 - June 28, 2009. Meet the Steins. Sixteen-year old Rachel is a Goth. Dad won?t change out of his pajamas. Her Jewish mother is suddenly born again ? and Jesus has moved into the kitchen. Their new neighbor, a teenager with an Elvis fixation studying for his bar mitzvah, has fallen for Rachel hard. And the Apocalypse is coming on Wednesday. Their only hope is that Stephen Hawking will save them all. A quirky, moving comedy about family, faith, and science for the 21st century. Now in our 25th season, Horizon Theatre Company has been bringing exciting area and world premieres of contemporary plays to Atlanta's audiences under the leadership of Co-Artistic Directors and Founders Lisa and Jeff Adler since 1983. A professional theatre with a reputation for excellent ensemble acting, Horizon produces outstanding new plays by today's playwrights that reflect and challenge the lives of the diverse people living in the urban Southeast. Horizon has introduced Atlanta audiences to the works of such well-known contemporary playwrights as Rebecca Gilman, Wendy Wasserstein, David Hare, Terrence McNally, and David Ives, as well as plays by talented emerging writers.

The 2008-2009 Reprise Theatre Company season continues
with the classic international hit 'Man of La Mancha,' starring Brent Spiner as Cervantes/Quixote. Julia Migenes, the renowned opera and theatre performer, will play Aldonza/Dulcinea; Valerie Perri will play the role of Aldonza/Dulcinea at matinee performances; and Tony nominee Lee Wilkof will play Sancho Panza.

Sean Mathias will direct Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart in Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot which is his first production as Artistic Director of the 2009 Theatre Royal Haymarket Company. Waiting for Godot will tour the UK prior to its opening in London in April.
